MANILA, Philippines – The eastern section of Luzon is forecast to experience overcast skies and rain on Saturday, October 12, due to the tail end of a cold front and the easterlies, the state weather agency said.

In a weathercast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the shearline is affecting Batanes and Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands, while the easterlies are influencing the climate in Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.

“Meanwhile, due to the easterlies… we will be experiencing high chances of rain today in Isabela, Aurora, and even in the province of Quezon,” he also said during Pagasa’s early Saturday public weather report.
