The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) on Wednesday said two of its entry publications won two Stevie awards at the prestigious 2024 International Business Awards, making them the only national government agency from the country to receive the distinction to date.
The BCDA touted that from over 3,600 entries submitted by 62 countries, their 2021 annual report won in the “best annual report – government agencies” category while their external feature magazine, Collective, won the “other publication – government” category.

“Both the annual report and Collective reflect our dedication to clear communication, our development milestones, and our long-term vision for national progress,” he added.
Article continues after this advertisementThe BCDA officials who received the award during the event held at the InterContinental Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey last October 11 include Bingcang, BCDA vice president for public affairs and project owner Leilani Barlongay-Macasaet, as well as public relations officer Denver Moreno.
Article continues after this advertisementBCDA said that its “2021 Annual Report: We Build As One” stood out for its clear presentation of financial data, accomplishments, and comprehensive insights into infrastructure developments.

According to the Stevie Awards website, it was created in 2002 to “honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.”

Under the awards, entries with the highest average score receive the Gold Stevie Award, while entries scoring at least 8.25 receive the Silver Stevie awards.
