MANILA, Philippines — Some local government units have ordered class suspensions for Monday, November 18, due to Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi).

The state weather bureau earlier reported that Pepito made its second landfall in the vicinity of Dipaculao, Aurora at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday.

The state weather bureau hoisted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) across the country, with TCWS No. 5 being the highest raised over Aurora, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya.

Areas under TCWS No. 5 may experience extreme threats to life and property, with wind speeds ranging from 185 kilometers per hour or greater.
